    Réduction du comportement myope dans le contrôle des FMS : une approche semi-hétérarchique basée sur la simulation-optimisation

    Heterarchical-based control for flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) localizes control capabilities in decisional entities (DE), resulting in highly reactive and low complex control architectures. However, these architectures present myopic behavior since DEs have limited visibility of other DEs and their behavior, making difficult to ensure certain global performance. This dissertation focuses on reducing myopic behavior. At first, a definition and a typology of myopic behavior in FMS is proposed. In this thesis, myopic behavior is dealt explicitly so global performance can be improved. Thus, we propose a semi-heterarchical architecture in which a global decisional entity (GDE) deals with different kinds of myopic decisions using simulation-based optimization (SbOs). Different optimization techniques can be used so myopic decisions can be dealt individually, favoring GDE modularity. Then, the SbOs can adopt different roles, being possible to reduce myopic behavior in different ways. More, it is also possible to grant local decisional entities with different autonomy levels by applying different interaction modes. In order to balance reactivity and global performance, our approach accepts configurations in which some myopic behaviors are reduced and others are accepted. Our approach was instantiated to control the assembly cell at Valenciennes AIPPRIMECA center. Simulation results showed that the proposed architecture reduces myopic behavior whereby it strikes a balance between reactivity and global performance. The real implementation on the assembly cell verified the effectiveness of our approach under realistic dynamic scenarios, and promising results were obtained.Le contrôle hétérarchique des systèmes de production flexibles (FMS) préconise un contrôle peu complexe et hautement réactif supporté par des entités décisionnelles locales (DEs).     Governance mechanism in control architectures for Flexible Manufacturing Systems

    Manufacturing systems, and specifically Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS), face the challenge of accomplish global optimal performance and reactiveness at dynamic manufacturing environments. For this reason, manufacturing control systems must incorporate mechanisms that support dynamic custom-build responses. This paper introduces a framework that includes a governance mechanism in control system architectures that dynamically steers the autonomy of decision-making between predictive and reactive approaches. Results from experiments led in simulation show that it is worth studying in depth a governance mechanism that tailors the structure and/or behaviour of a manufacturing control system and, at the same time, potentiate the reactivity required in manufacturing operations.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

    Pollux: a dynamic hybrid control architecture for flexible job shop systems

    Nowadays, manufacturing control systems can respond more effectively to exigent market requirements and real-time demands. Indeed, they take advantage of changing their structural and behavioural arrangements to tailor the control solution from a diverse set of feasible configurations. However, the challenge of this approach is to determine efficient mechanisms that dynamically optimise the configuration between different architectures. This paper presents a dynamic hybrid control architecture that integrates a switching mechanism to control changes at both structural and behavioural level. The switching mechanism is based on a genetic algorithm and strives to find the most suitable operating mode of the architecture with regard to optimality and reactivity.     An adaptive genetic algorithm for a dynamic single-machine scheduling problem

    Nowadays, industries cope with a wide range of situations and/or perturbations that endanger the manufacturing productivity. Traditionally, manufacturing control systems are responsible for managing the manufacturing scheduling and execution, as these have the capability of maintaining the production operations regardless of a given perturbation. Still, the challenge of these systems is to achieve an optimal performance after the perturbations occur. For this reason, manufacturing control systems must incorporate a mechanism with intelligent capabilities to look for optimal performance and operation reactivity regardless of any scenario. This paper proposes a generic control strategy for a manufacturing control system for piloting the execution of a dynamic scheduling problem, considering a new job arrival as the manufacturing perturbation. The study explores a predictive-reactive approach that couples a genetic algorithm for the predictive scheduling and an adaptive genetic algorithm for reactivity control aiming to minimize the weighted tardiness in a dynamic manufacturing scenario. The results obtained from this proposal verify that the effectiveness was improved by using adaptive metaheuristic in a dynamic scheduling problem, considering absorbing the degradation caused by the perturbation

    Representaciones sociales de estudiantes universitarios acerca de la palabra “perdón” en el contexto del conflicto y postconflicto colombiano

    In a contextof internal warfare of more than fifty years in Colombia and with a signed peace process that seeks to end part of the conflict, forgiveness is spoken of daily, a fundamental term for the solution of conflicts. However, due to political-historical situations and the misinformation that has existed, this word has acquired multiple meanings. The present article pretends to show what are the social representations that the university students of Bucaramanga have in front of the word "forgiveness" in the context of the conflict and the Colombian post-conflict. A qualitative methodology linked to the grounded theory was implemented and different qualitative data collection techniques were used. Based on the general and emerging categories, an analysis of the speeches issued by students from two universities, one public and one private, was made. Here, it was evidenced that forgiveness is constantly related as a significant and necessary entity for the termination of a conflict. . In conclusion, the conception of forgiveness is directly related to forgetting, so it becomes an important factor in the construction of peace, a premise that becomes relevant because of the implications of having to forgive for societ

    Pricing and lot sizing optimization in a two-echelon supply chain with a constrained Logit demand function

    Decision making in supply chains is influenced by demand variations, and hence sales, purchase orders and inventory levels are therefore concerned. This paper presents a non-linear optimization model for a two-echelon supply chain, for a unique product. In addition, the model includes the consumers’ maximum willingness to pay, taking socioeconomic differences into account. To do so, the constrained multinomial logit for discrete choices is used to estimate demand levels. Then, a metaheuristic approach based on particle swarm optimization is proposed to determine the optimal product sales price and inventory coordination variables. To validate the proposed model, a supply chain of a technological product was chosen and three scenarios are analyzed: discounts, demand segmentation and demand overestimation. Results are analyzed on the basis of profits, lotsizing and inventory turnover and market share. It can be concluded that the maximum willingness to pay must be taken into consideration, otherwise fictitious profits may mislead decision making, and although the market share would seem to improve, overall profits are not in fact necessarily better

    Aplicativo para el control estadístico de procesos en línea integrado a un sistema de manufactura flexible

    Este trabajo presenta un aplicativo desarrollado para mejorar el seguimiento hecho a los procesos en las organizaciones que han implementado sistemas altamente automatizados e integrados. Los sistemas de ejecución de manufactura (MES) permiten una integración efectiva entre los sistemas de planeación de recursos empresariales (ERP) y los sistemas flexibles de manufactura (FMS) en el piso de planta. A partir de la integración previa entre el Software Application and Product (SAP) y un FMS se desarrolla un aplicativo de capa MES para el control estadístico de los procesos. Este aplicativo resuelve problemas como: conectividad, adquisición de los datos y análisis de datos mediante alarmas, no sólo basados en especificaciones y límites de control, sino también en análisis de causas mediante el uso de arboles de decisión. Una de las características de este trabajo es que puede implementarse en cualquier proceso y no requiere software MES adicional para su funcionamiento, con lo cual se disminuyen los costos de adquisición e implementación. Las pruebas del sistema se realizaron teniendo como sistema de medición la estación de control de calidad por visión artificial de piezas mecanizadas en el sistema FMS
